Radboud University is a broad, internationally oriented university that aspires to be one of the best in Europe. Together with Radboudumc, we have created an intellectual environment that inspires and challenges our students and staff so that they can extend the scope of academic disciplines and benefit society.
Radboud University challenges its students to actively participate in the academic community and trains them to be critical and committed academics, with their own views regarding scholarship and society, who will take up responsible positions in a society which is becoming increasingly internationalised.
The university’s academic staff come from all over the world, and a large proportion of our student population has spent at least some months studying at a university abroad.
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at Radboud University is a world-class research centre devoted to understanding the mechanistic underpinnings of human cognition and behavior in health and disease. The Institute is home to more than 600 researchers from 35 countries who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of the brain-, cognitive- and behavioral sciences through investigator-driven research, and improving health, education and technology by applying advances in this field.
The Memory Dynamics Lab at Donders focuses on the dynamics of neural circuits and the interactions between different brain structures, in particular those supporting memory and decision making, with neurophysiological, behavioural and computational methods. We aim at combining advanced neurotechnological techniques with a solid conceptual and theoretical framework.
