Radboud University is a broad, internationally oriented university. Together with Radboudumc, it has created an environment that inspires and challenges students and staff to extend the scope of academic disciplines and benefit society.
Radboud University trains it students to be critical and committed academics, with their own views regarding scholarship and society, who will take up responsible positions in a society which is becoming increasingly internationalised.
The university’s academic staff come from all over the world, and a large proportion of our student population has spent at least some months studying at a university abroad.
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at Radboud University is a world-class research centre devoted to understanding the mechanistic underpinnings of human cognition and behavior in health and disease. The Institute is home to more than 600 researchers from 35 countries who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of brain-, cognitive- and behavioral sciences, and improving health, education and technology by applying advances in this field.
The Memory Dynamics Lab at the Donders Institute focuses on the dynamics of neural circuits and the interactions between different brain structures, in particular those supporting memory and decision making, with neurophysiological, behavioural and computational methods. We aim at combining advanced neurotechnological techniques with a solid conceptual and theoretical framework.
